Exercise resistance bands are so great and a good alternative to hand weights. I like them because they are so convenient to pack and store. Also, you can control resistance in the positive phase and negative phase of an exercise. You can get an excellent strengthening workout with just having one band. I like the bands with handles for ease and comfort and support for your wrists. You can order any resistance level from very light to ultra heavy. I like having a few pairs at home, but if you had to pick one, I would go with light or medium.
